Review : D-Link MainStage : Wi-Di 2.0 and HD broadcast

"D-Link MainStage" distinguish itself from its competitors Netgear Push2TV HD ( PTV2000) or Belkin ScreenCast, witches are actually very similar (by the way we can suppose that the first manufactures products for the second).
Besides the indispensable HDMI output and the trio of analogic RCA outputs, the  D-link MainStage aka" DHD-131" actually uses an optical SPDIF output. A welcome contribution for all those who enjoy a home cinema setup such as Logitech Z-5500 rather than an amplified home cinema.
Because Intel Wireless Display 2.0 allows  to share 1080p video flow in 30 fps (frame per second) and a powerfull multi-channel sound 5.1 thanks to Wi-Fi N connection. It requires a computer equipped with a processor Intel Huron River (architecture Sandy Bridge) and a dual band Wi-Fi controller Intel Centrino.
Available since the beginning of the year.
